My experiences of the service have been nothing but good. Sure you have to wait a long time before you see the doctor or have a blood test taken but when don`t you have to wait to do something in this country.
All of the staff I have come into contact with have been hard working and greatly skilled. Even the food was excellent when I spent time in hospital earlier this year.
It also as to be said with the government`s new policy to make it harder for people outside of the European Union to work here that many of the best nurses, doctors and even domestic staff I met were from Asian countries.Personally I think the foreign workers in the NHS are a credit to themselves and a godsend to us.
If British workers are unable or unwilling to work in the NHS then we should be welcoming foreign nationals who do want to work here with open arms regardless on where they come from.
I believe the NHS is our greatest asset. Greater than Parliament and greater than the Royal Family. We should resist moves to scrap it and privatise it.We should give those who work for it the backing and resources they need to do there jobs properly and then stand back and be pround of our NHS!
